Binding Death Benefit Nomination (SMSF) | to Member’s spouse and then to Member’s children
Product type: standard template | no legal review or advice
Price: $55.00 each
This standard template revokes all previous SMSF Death Benefit Nominations (if any) whether binding or non-binding and directs the trustee to allocate amounts payable by the Superannuation Fund specifically to:
- the Member's spouse if they survive the Member by 30 days - if not then to those of their children who survive them by thirty days and if more than one then in equal shares
Important note: This Death Benefit Nomination only relates to Self Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) and can be used by both individual and corporate trustees.
This type of death benefit nomination caters for very standard situations. In the event of any possible complexity such as blended family requirements, or when strategic integration of the BDBN with Members financial planning or estate documentation needs to be considered, then a specifically tailored BDBN based on the Members specific situation should be used.
