SUPERCentral Governing Rules now registered in Queensland

The Current Version of the SUPERCentral Governing Rules – Version 08/14 which applies on and from 27 August 2014 – has now been registered as a Standard Terms Document with the Queensland Department of Natural Resources and Mines.
    
Registration is effective from 26 September 2014 and the Standard Terms Document Number is 716038025.  

Registration will assist trustees of SMSFs to which the Current Version of the SUPERCentral Governing Rules applies if they wish to record their ownership of Queensland land as being held by them “as trustee”.  Trustees wishing to record their ownership of Queensland land as being held by them in their representative capacity will need to quote the Standard Terms Document Number when registering title transfers.

Unfortunately other States have not adopted the Queensland approach and so land held in other States cannot be registered as being held “as trustee”.
