Super Changes in the Budget?

Whatever is in the Budget, one change won’t be.

Senator Sherry has described the $50,000 (now to be $55,000 from 1 July 2009) concessional contributions cap as “generous”. 

On this basis there certainly will be no lifting of the concessional contribution cap.  Consequently, as the non-concessional and the “bring forward” caps are based upon the concessional contributions cap, they will also not change – apart from the indexation change which applies from 1 July 2009.
